Spencer Wilson of Minot North Dakota will look to repeat his 2014 sweep of the Snowbird Classic just 12 months ago.  The Taylor Chassis backed driver will  have his hands full against the likes of super star Jeff Taylor,  North Dakota stand outs Shawn Strand and Marlyn Seidler and the best Modified drivers in the South West region. All  looking for their first wins of the season .  Local stand outs Eric Center, Ricky Thornton Jr., Tim Ward and the entire South West Modified division will try and capitalize on their many laps around the speedway to keep the out of state drivers at bay and off the podium .  All drivers will have a shot of taking home the crown each night of the event along with the $1250 nightly check and gaining points to start their 2015 IMCA season.

X-Mods, Neils Garage Cabinets Pure Stocks and Dwarf Cars will also race the 2015 card.

2014 X-Mod Champion Eric Winemiller will try and collect the $600 check each night for the division after capturing his $1500 2014 season end bonus in December.  The South West X-Mod drivers will be joined by X-Mod and Northern Sport Mod drivers from as far away as Canada for the  3rd running of the SnowBird Classic.

Neils Garage Cabinets Pure Stocks are coming off a 40 lap feature that yielded only 1 caution and produced crowd standing action and left new comer Steve Bitting winning the first feature of the season. Darren Olney, Kevin Parker and the rest of the crew will be out in force for the first big race of 2015.

Dwarf cars will wrap up the card and begin their points season with the new Hoosier tire program.  Expect furious action from these racers through out the weekend.

Racing action begins at 6:00pm  both Saturday and Sunday night January 17th and 18th.  Pits open at 2:00pm and spectator gates open at 3:00pm. This Saturday night Easter Excitement comes to Arizona Speedway as the South West IMCA Modified Championships return for the 4th time in 2014 and the 7th round of the series.
