The South-Wests best Modified teams will set their sites on Arizona Speedway this Saturday night to see which team can upset current points leader and 4 in a row record holder Ricky Thorton.  The 20 car has 5 wins at the Speedway this year and has been on a rail starting as far back as 20th place managing to wheel himself into the lead and victory lane in his last four attempts at Arizona Speedway.  Eric and Cody Center currently set in second and third positions and would both like a piece of the top slot this Saturday night.  Tyler Mecl, Cody Graham along with Eric Center are also winners this year at the Speedway  and have proven they have the speed to end the night in victory lane this Saturday night.

Along with the Mods will be the Super Stocks.  Last weeks winner Mike “Buck” Brigner will try and back up last weekends performance that netted him a $500 payday.  Allen Kelly and Rob Colclasure were on Brigners heals last week and will be looking for the win this weekend.

The X-Mods  also look to advance their division as last years State Champion Chris Caldwell holds  a  12 point lead over Michael Harrison.

Casey Cains Desert Dwarf cars slide into the action this Saturday night as well.  The high energy, racey buzz saws, coming off 2 great performances at the Speedway, all try and claim valuable points and a win in their 2013 Championship chase.

Robert Horne Ford Bombers will finish off the evening with Soboski,  Wibeto and “Bomber” Don Berner setting in the top three positions coming into the half way point of the 2013 Championship hunt.

Racing action begins at 7:45pm. Gates open at 5:00pm. Pits open at 4:30pm. Cost of admission, $12 adults, $10 seniors, $5 kids and kids 6 and under are FREE.
